Happy Fall!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

We are so thankful for Eastlake and for the great education it is giving our kids!  Especially for our dedicated Teachers and Administrators!  We hope everyone has a picture-perfect Thanksgiving break - with the reminder that school is out Thursday, November 22 & Friday the 23rd, with early schedule on Wednesday.

Before everyone takes off for a fun little break though, here are a couple of important reminders:

D-Track Parent Teacher Conferences
November 28th & 29th.  As usual, the PTA will be running the Book Fair on the stage starting Tuesday the 27th and continuing throughout the evenings during PTCs.  The Book Fair is a fun way to earn a little extra money for the school, and is much anticipated by the students every year.  (We can always use help covering shifts as well to make sure the Book Fair stays a tradition.  Thanks so much to those who have helped so far!)

Our school nurse will conduct vision screenings for A & B tracks on Tuesday, November 27th, and for C & D tracks on Tuesday, December 4th.  We need 12 volunteers to assist with screenings in the morning from 8:30am-noon, and an additional 4 volunteers from about 1:00pm-2:30pm in the afternoon.  Please contact Lori in the Eastlake Office (801-446-0778) if you have some time to help on either or both of these days.   If you are unable to cover the entire morning, but have an hour or so, we can definitely use your help.
